Student Voices Project
I will be recording student voices for a slide show/video to be placed online for potential new students, their parents and adult who partner with Upward Bound (ie. help with funding, etc.) This slideshow will be embedded into the UB online wiki as well as our website on the main ESU site.

What does Upward Bound mean to me? Why is Up ward Bound so important? How can Upward Bound help high school students?

I need Current Pictures:

Please email pictures to KP at stampinpost@yahoo.com or upload your pictures directly my account on Flickr (email me for password). You can also give me pictures at Tech Club Monday night or at 4pm meetings if you have them on a jump drive or memory card. If you have uploaded pics to your favorite online photostorage website, please send me a link and I will get those pictures. You may also use Picnik in Flickr to crop and enhance your pictures as needed.

I need Voices:
Instead of trying to videotape everybody, I am going to record some students talking using a microphone and I will also put in images of written comments. If you would like to speak, let me know and I can record you during 4pm meeting, during the evening free time or at another time that we can find.

If you would prefer to write your thoughts, please submit them to me. If you can type it and send it to my email stampinpost@yahoo.com, that would be fantastic.

Recommendation for students who want to share their comments – write one or two paragraph in a narrative form (tell a story). I can edit if you make any major mistakes when you talk and we can record it a couple of times if you mess it up, but it is easier to have something written and to read that rather than trying to speak by memory.

I will place random photos to the words, so I will not be connecting your picture to what you are saying (unless you want me to).

Start your comment by saying something like this:

· Upward Bound is special to me because…

· Upward Bound helps me because…

· I love Upward Bound because…

· Upward Bound has changed my life because…

(Note: try to use Upward Bound in the beginning of your comment!)
